   Contact the church office if you need help changing a light-bulb, replacing vacuum cleaner bags, smoke detector batteries, pick up a prescription or ride to an appointment.There is also help available for those needs that require a man.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

   You have an opportunity to participate in the Prayer Shawl Ministry by knitting, crocheting, quilting or weaving a shawl.

   Each shawl, accompanied by a short message, is given to individuals for healing of health, for blessing in bereavement, and other distressful situations.

   Prayer Shawls have “three” somewhere for the trinity – Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer – 3 rows, 3 (different) stitches, 3 colors, etc.

   One Prays each time one begins to work on a shawl that the Lord blesses the receiver.  Later there will be a church blessing before shawls are delivered.

   Patterns needing large size knitting needles (11-13) and crochet hooks (M, N, and P) are available.  There are also several containers of yarn in the CWF room that may be used.
